QuanBa Taigoo (meaning ‘Hello QuanBa’) is located in the peaceful town of Quan Ba in the Ha Giang province. QuanBa Taigoo is a community owned and operated cooperative of small tourism businesses that supports sustainable livelihoods. QuanBa Taigoo cooperative follows the community-based tourism model to achieve improved community well-being and protection of socio-cultural traditions.

Members of the QuanBa Taigoo cooperative have homestay accommodation built in the traditional architecture of the Dao ethnic minority with stone walls to keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Each homestay provides shared or private guest rooms on the second floor and the ground floor is used by the family and for common area activities.

All homestays have a patio with mountain views, free WiFi, shared or private toilet, hot shower and free parking. Guests can go trekking with local guides through natural landscapes and experience the daily lives of local ethnic groups.

QuanBa Taigoo offers additional services and activities:
• Free breakfast at your homestay (European or Vietnamese style)
• Lunch or dinner with suitable Vietnamese dishes at your homestay
• Cooking class with local ingredients
• Trekking tour to Truc Son village and Heaven’s Gate (5km) or to Can Ty village (20km)
• Tour of the Lung Khay Cave (7km trek from Quan Ba)
• Collecting medicinal herbs, rice, maize or tea and farming activities with a local Dao guide
• Experience a medicinal Dao bath
• Bicycle rental service to see the countryside
• Traditional Dao performing ceremonies and campfire at night
